Tough-sounding (imo) movie quotes from films that aren’t real
“I believe there is no belief system that adequately compensates for the flaws innately found in each of us. “It is not wisdom you seek, for wisdom is limited to the brain of man. No, you wish to be a god, for only gods are all-knowing.” - the supreme artificial intelligence. Movie takes place in the future where humans are relegated as laborers for the machine overlords that rule the world. Certain humans with particular intellect are chosen to interact with the AI to make it smarter. One of these humans is on a quest to out-think the machines, and has almost achieved their goal when they realized that their journey leads them to the supreme artificial intelligence, which was the first self-aware AI and the instigator of the robot revolution. The supreme artificial intelligence is boasting to the human about the futility of their situation.
“You ask what you are without her, but you neglect what you are with her. She does not give your life value, you do. If you let it, losing her will make you weak. Hell, I’d get shat on for $50 and a bucket of KFC, and you’re talking about $1 million for going inside? … Crazy times we’re living in.” - George Plant, owner of his small town's centuries-old distillery. Plant is one of the oldest residents of the town and agrees to accompany a group of teens in investigating a crime that occurred during his childhood. This quote is taken from a scene where they're standing outside the building where the crime is said to have happened, and one of the teens offers $1 million to the first person to enter.
“Once you get past the lithosphere, then I think the bar becomes just a bit too low.” - Frederica Melón, CEO of a marketing company.
