Eli’s Epic.

For the last year or so, I’ve thought that I’d lost my favorite hat (pictured below). However, it turns out the hat was in my room the whole time! With my favorite hat being back in action, I’m gonna post some of the reasons why I like my hat: It’s a really cool hat The letters stand for “get a real job” which is tough It has cute hearts in the lettering which is kind of a funny juxtaposition with the seemingly critical tone of the message I paid way more for this hat than anyone should pay for a hat (it’s justified because I was supporting a local artist) and so I need it to be my favorite hat in order to fully see a return on investment It’s a trucker hat which means my head doesn’t feel too constrained  It’s got a very nice shade of blue on it  Here is the hat moments after I found it.  Here is a screenshot from a video of me wearing the hat:

“Mural” is now officially my most listened to song ever. Not a crazy occasion, but it gets a post cuz fuck it (I’ve also mentioned it twice so I feel like that counts for something too). 

It must be said that there is a time and place for each of these tastes, and each have their own value. That being said, some are certainly better than others. Thus, here is my official taste bud ranking: 5. Bitter - If you are a synonym for "resentful," I don't want you in my mouth. It's not that complicated, bitter is just not that great. 4. Umami - I still don't really understand this one, so that definitely knocks its ranking down. I can't tell you what umami is, or why, and its ambiguity really knocks it down some for me. It seems like a think made up just to confuse the masses on what high-quality food should taste like, and I don't buy it. Sure, some things might actually be umami-tasting, but that doesn't mean that I'd be able to tell you one way or another. As such, I can't really place this one any higher.  3. Yesterday kinds tarted off like shit cuz I was just not in a good mood at all but then I went for an awesome walk in the arboretum and then played DnD for the first time which was lit then went to the bar my dad works at/the bar that I work at (they’re right next to each other) and got hella free drinks. A little while ago, I posted a list of my top 10 favorite songs. I mentioned in that post that the list is subject to change over time, so here is my first revision to the list. Not sure if you are all aware, but it is currently winter in the Northern Hemisphere. Now, people often associate winter with many different things, but I tend to associate it with the cold. When it gets cold out, something very special happens: if it gets cold enough, and clouds yearn to precipitate, the magical weather anomaly that is snow arrives. Now, to some of you, this anomaly may be more engrained into your daily winter routines, but for myself, and most of us living in the greater Seattle area, snow time is certainly an exciting time. Snowballs, snowmen (or snowwomen), snow angels, and sledding are just a few of the many super fun things to do in the snow. This morning, I was nearly brought to tears when I saw snow on the forecast for the coming week. Without any schoolwork to do, I'll be free to play and enjoy the snow as much as I please, which I quite exciting and I am very much looking forward to it.
